The compounds in the systems, which contain alkaline-earth, rare-earth, transitional d -metal and oxygen, are actively studied view of wide range their physical properties practical applications. Ceramic samples were synthesis by solid-state reaction method starting from high-purity CaCO 3 , Nd 2 O Mn powders. At a first stage, reagents mixed heated muffle furnace at 1000 °С during 24 h for decomposition carbonate. second pressed into pellets mixtures sintered tube 1200 8 h. X-ray phase structure analyses (DRON 2.0M diffractometer, Fe K α radiation) chosen as main methods investigation. fluorescent spectroscopy was carried out using ElvaX Pro analyzer. interaction components CaO−Nd −Mn system on base examination 37 samples. isothermal cross-section °C constructed. It is shown that there not CaO–Nd boundary system, whereas Ca MnO 4 (own type, Pearson symbol tI 56, space group I 1 / acd ), CaMnO (GdFeO oP 20, Pnma CaMn 28, Pbcm ) NdMnO exist CaO–Mn respectively. Besides formation continuous series solid solutions 1- x ( = 0−1) with orthorhombic perovskite GdFeO observed. On compound substitutional solution 1.6 0.4 composition formed. existence 7 hR 168, R -3, 11.110(2), с 17.307(4) Å, reliability factors p 3.37 %, wp 4.23 %) confirmed.
